F.A.Q.Frequently Asked Questions
Questions: When will my shipping box arrive? Answer: This depends on when it is sent. Most apple boxes are sent on Mondays or Tuesdays to ensure they arrive before the weekend. We never want a box of apples to sit in a UPS terminal over the weekend, especially a long holiday weekend. Even worse is a warm terminal in Florida! First we ask that you check the day you asked us to ship it when filling out your order. An order late in the week would always be sent the following Monday unless specifically asked otherwise. We also try not to send on short holiday weeks. These are a few reasons there could be a delay in your box being sent. We do not offer online tracking. See How Do I Track My Gifts? Question: How can I track my Gifts? Answer: The easiest way is to email or call the farm. We can track them manually if need be. 95% of the time we get these calls late in the week and it is still in transit. Question: How can I send more than 1 box? Answer: Each time you add a gift to cart there are several criteria fields to fill in with unique address, apple variety, date to be shipped and so on. These are specific to each box you order. As long as you fill in the Name and Address for each box before adding to cart it they will appear individually in checkout. DO NOT create multiple gifts to be shipped in checkout. This will simply duplicate the box and unique box criteria, making it not unique. We will catch it and call you to straighten it out. Question: In Check Out it shows 2 x Apple Lovers Box and does not give the unique box criteria. Answer: This is only possible if the Name and Address criteria are the same as a previously added box. The solution is to change the name a little. Ex John II or John I Question: I want to send an apple variety not listed. Answer: Simply add it into the comments box. We can not guarantee we have the variety you are requesting; a list of current varieties are on our home page. Understand the listed varieties are recommended shipping varieties. Question: Where do you get all your apples? Answer: We grow them all. Only in rare and only unheard of cases do we buy apples to resell. If we do they are local Ohio growers we know. Our goal is grow and sell only our apples. |
